Community & Local Food Systems

French Price, Value Chain Coordinator, VA Cooperative Extension

The majority of Virginia farms are considered the “Agriculture of the Middle”. These farms are experiencing a pinch with limited resources and competitive markets. One way to navigate the markets is by adding and emphasizing your farm’s unique value. You can add value to your business by building relationships and storytelling. In this session, French Price, Value Chain Coordinator with Virginia Cooperative Extension will share an explanation of how community food systems and values-based marketing can help your business capture greater profits in the local foods market.
