Bus Tour Option 2:

• Stop 1: Wakefield Peanut Company
  • We will be touring their entire facility from the storage warehouses to the grading facility, to the seed peanut bagging area, and finally where they produce their Gourmet Virginia Peanuts line of products which is included in the Virginia’s Finest program. Attendees will learn about local peanut production and get an opportunity to purchase local peanuts grown and processed in Sussex County to take home!

  • We will be touring the elevator/grain buying facility as well as getting a look into the feed mill production side
